February Reading Recap

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! I am back again for another book post which I am really excited about. This time it would not be a book review, but instead, I will be just listing out the books that I've read in February with a short description about it and I will also be including the link to the Pinterest board and playlist if I do have a playlist or a Pinterest board for that particular book. Do make sure to look forward for my next book review though cuz I am so excited about that.

1. The Last Hours: Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare

Chain of Iron book cover

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Continues from the story of Cordelia Carstairs and James Herondale from the first instalment in the series which is Chain of Gold but this time it focuses on what's happening in the Shadowhunter world where a murder mystery is going on, and it's not helping that all the clues behind those murder mysteries are pointing at James Herondale - an action-packed, women empowering novel filled with heart-warming moments, twist and turns and more shocking revelation with each page you turn.

2. Write Me Off by Brandy Davis

Write Me Off book cover

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5 - A sports romance about a journalism student and a basketball player on how she tries so hard to please everyone around her while juggling school to get a scholarship into grad school and her family life and how hard the double standard is in the industry. Inspired loosely by the works of Taylor Swift (Why I love this book so much tbh lol).

3. It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

It Ends With Us book cover

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨/ 5 - A book that shows how not everything in life can be viewed as black and white, how important is it to share values with someone you want to keep in your life and not everything is as easy as people make it out to be. It carries an important message to everyone out there that sometimes the truth might not be the best thing and how important childhood upbringing actually is on how it shapes someone's view in life and the desolation of an abusive relationship on how it can ruin someone - or how it shows the strengths of the survivors.

4. Bad Boy's Game by Bree Hudson/ @beautifultragedies on Wattpad

Bad Boy's Game book cover

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5 - Follows the good girl and the bad boy with their game of love while also getting to know the backstory of why they started doing this and how their wholesome "beginning" of a relationship could take a turn and end by a heartbreaking cause that will shock you as it is not expected.

5. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

6. She's With Me by Jessica Cunsolo

She's With Me book cover

⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - About a girl named Amelia Collins who just transferred to this new school during her senior year and why she is she so hellbent on trying to keep a low profile throughout the school year - even though it is becoming harder and harder to do what she's originally supposed to do when she started to hang out with this group of friend. Sometimes, things in life are not as simple as it is and it is much deeper than that.

7. Stay With Me by Jessica Cunsolo

Stay With Me book cover

⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - The direct continuation of She's With Me and it dives deeper into everything that is happening in the first book and we will also get to know the reasons behind it including a newly added storyline about Aiden Parker's background and ends with a shocking twist that leaves you hanging.

That's basically everything I read in February and I am very happy because it is a good reading month for me and I hope that I can keep that up throughout the year (even though I do have been reading less this month which is quite disappointing but in my defence, I've been very busy balancing my social life and studying).

Thank you everyone for reading I appreciate it so much! <3

Life update!!

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! If you have not noticed, I have rebranded my blog because I was feeling bored with the green colour scheme even though it is pretty. I just feel like I needed something to make me feel motivated again to write a blog.     It has been a while since I published my last blog post and I really miss writing blogs, but life has just been a roller coaster. I have finished high school and I have entered university. I am actually done with my first semester of uni which is fun. That is one of the reasons why I wanted to write on here again because I am not that busy for these 2 weeks. I am currently doing my diploma right now with the course of Management and so far so good. Sadly, I did not get to do what I actually wanted to do in university but it is fine, life always has other plans for us anyways right? 😂     Other than that, Taylor Swift dropped evermore, Fearless (Taylor's Version) and soon Red (Taylor's Version) and...

March 2022 Recap

Assalamulaikum and hello everyone! I am back this month and this will just be a chill blog so I am just going to rant whatever I want to say and whatever that has happened this month.    This will probably be my only blog post for this month because I want to get over this semester already but I also don't want to because then it will be my second year of uni already and we are required to do "in campus" classes instead of online which I am doing through out my first year, which is right now. I love doing online classes so much and my grades are even better compared to normal face-to-face classes like when I was doing in school up until my junior year.    I don't even know why so I am kind of dreading that part but I am trying to have a positive mindset about it because I feel like it will be a fun experience and I get to live in the student's residential. I hope that I will have friends in uni by then but with how things are working right now I don't th...

Top 3 Books Recommendation (February Reads) | Book Review

Assalamualaikum and hello fellow readers. Yeah I know it has been weeks since I didn't update my blog. I am very sorry. The 1st two month is really busy for me and there are a lot of things that needs to be settled. I will hope I can keep up with this again. This year is very important for me because it will determine my junior and senior year in high school. This week we will be talking about books. As you know, a blogger is a place that u need to read not like YouTube where you watch it. So I guess you guys like to read like me! It's a leisure activity 1.   The title is Girl Online as you can see on the picture above. It  is the first novel by Zoe Sugg or more known as Zoella. She started on a blogger site as well and grew her audience on YouTube. I adore her as a blogger a lot. The book is under the  publisher Penguin and is released on November 25, 2014. Yeah I know I am late per usual because I got it last year for my 14th birthday. Girl Online is a book ...

The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas | Book Review

Assalamualaikum and hello readers! At this point I am not even going to say thank you because I always did this thing. Don't even bother with me. Today I would like to review a book by an inspiring author named Angie Thompson. She wrote the book The Hate You Give and this is by far my favourite book of the year not even going to sugar coat it. Author Angie Thomas     Book cover for The Hate U Give "Starr Carter's world is shattered when she is the only witness to the fatal shooting of her unarmed best friend. Khalil, by a police officer. Now what Starr says could destroy her community. It could also get her killed."   I just finished reading this book just now at school and there are some teardrops being shed. I am not even going to be ashamed by it. This book has really portrays a window for outsiders about black lives in America. I am just going to be real here, Malaysia is a multiracial country but we do not have this racism going on betw...
